Plain language, because you should be able to read this in five minutes and know exactly what you agreed to.
The three parts that matter most: applications go out unless you stop them, billing starts after 7 days at $199 a month, and that first $199 is refundable for 7 days from the day it is charged.
Resume Tailor is run by Brayan Londono. He is also the operator who does the Reverse Recruiter work by hand. LinkedIn. Reach us at hello@resumetailor.ai.
Two products live here. The resume builder is self-serve: you tailor and download your own resumes. Reverse Recruiter is done for you: a person applies to jobs in your name. These terms cover both.
One operator searches for roles that match what you told us you want, has your resume rewritten for each one, fills out the application, and files it under your name. Every application is logged in your worklog.
During the free trial you get up to 5 applications. After that, at least 5 hand-picked applications a week.
If we cannot find 5 roles worth your name in a given week, we would rather send you fewer than pad the list. Tell us about a short week and we credit it against your next invoice. We would rather send 5 roles a person argued for than 100 a filter returned.
You also get a human resume audit within 48 hours of joining.
Read this section twice. It is the one that surprises people.
Every role is announced to you before it is filed. You have 24 hours to stop it with one click. If you say nothing, it is filed.
This is opt-out, not opt-in. We do not wait for your approval.
That mechanism is what makes the service work while you are at your day job. It is also the thing you are agreeing to, so we make you sign it in plain words on the authorization screen before we take a card.
You keep two exits at all times. Stop a single application inside its 24 hours window. Or cancel outright, which stops the applications and the billing together.
Today you are charged nothing. Then 7 days free. Then $199 a month, charged automatically to your card every month until you cancel.
Stripe holds your card and enforces the free days. Your first charge lands the day the trial ends, and we email you before it does.
Cancel any time from Manage billing, in the menu at the top right of your member area. That opens Stripe's billing portal, where you can also update your card and read every invoice. No email required, no retention call, no save offer. Cancelling stops the next charge.
Prices can change. If yours changes, we tell you before the charge that reflects it.
Your first charge is refundable for 7 days from the date of that charge. Not from the date you signed up. The free trial sits between those two dates, so the refund window opens when money first moves.
Email hello@resumetailor.ai inside that window and we refund it in full, no questions.
After 7 days from the first charge, and on every charge after the first, we do not offer refunds. Cancel instead and you are not billed again.
Accuracy. Your resume has to be true, and so do your intake answers. We put both in front of employers under your name. We will never claim something you did not tell us, and we will not invent experience to fit a posting. If what you gave us is wrong, that is on you. It is your name on the application.
The boundary, stated plainly:
We also cannot control what an employer does with an application, how long they take, or whether they reply at all.
One person does this work by hand, so the ceiling is real rather than a scarcity trick. When all 20 spots are taken we take your details and contact you when one opens.
You are not charged while you wait. We hold your setup for 14 days so you do not have to do it twice. After that it is wiped, and you would start over.
The rest of the site is self-serve. Upload a resume, tailor it against a job description, download an ATS-friendly PDF. Some of it is free and capped by usage.
The paid plan carries a free trial and then bills at the plan and price shown on the pricing page at the moment you subscribe, on a recurring basis until you cancel. Cancel from your account, which opens the Stripe billing portal.
AI-generated resume text is a draft. Read it before you send it. It is your resume and your name.
Your resume, your answers and everything you write here belong to you. You give us permission to use them only to do the work you hired us for: storing them, parsing them, rewriting them for a specific job, and submitting applications on your behalf.
Nothing else. We do not sell your data. The Privacy Policy names every party that sees it.
Keep your password to yourself, and tell us if someone else gets in. One person per account.
We can suspend or close an account used to mislead an employer, to apply on behalf of somebody else, to scrape or attack the site, or to abuse the operator. We will tell you why.
This is a small service run by one person. Things break, and we sometimes take the site down to fix them. We do not promise uptime.
We can change these terms. Material changes get an email before they take effect, and the date at the top of this page always tells you when it last moved. Using the service after that date means you accept the new version.
The service is provided as it is. We do not accept liability for a job you did not get, an offer that did not come, an employer’s decision, or income you expected and did not earn.
Where the law allows us to limit liability, our total liability to you for any claim is capped at what you paid us in the twelve months before it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which Resume Tailor is established, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes go to the courts of that state.
Before either of us files anything, email hello@resumetailor.ai. Most disputes are about a refund, and we refund things.
hello@resumetailor.ai. One person reads it.
